BLACK BOOTIES III

Every year I allow myself a pair of topshop boots. These were this year's choice. I first saw them on Angelica Blick's blog (my all time favorite blog, on which I might be doing a post on really soon) and I immediately knew I had to have them. They were a big expensive but the quality is really good and I do get a lot of use out of them. I love the gold detailings, makes them somewhat different to all my other black boots. They are also really comfortable, so another plus there. Oh and for those of you who were wondering, I never had any problems ordering things from Topshop. They get here really fast and without an issue. Hope you liked them!

Todos os anos permito-me a mim mesma comprar umas botas na Topshop. Estas foram a escolha deste ano. A primeira vez que as vi foi no blog da Angelica Blick (o meu blog favorito, sobre o qual posso vir a fazer um post muito em breve) e percebi logo que tinha que as ter. Foram um pouco caras mas a qualidade é fantástica e sei que lhes vou dar imenso uso, aliás tenho dado imenso uso. Adoro os detalhes em dourado, tornam-nas um pouco diferentes de todas as minhas outras botas pretas. Também são super confortáveis, por isso mais um ponto positivo. Ah, para aqueles quem quiser saber, nunca tive qualquer problema em encomendar botas da Topshop. Chega sempre tudo rápido e sem qualquer problema. Espero que tenham gostado!

NEWEST ADDICTION

If you follow me on Instagram, you must have already seen this gorgeousness of a necklace from Zara. It's amazingly beautiful I can't get enough of it. It's a bit expensive for a neckalce but a little splurge once in a while never hurt nobody. You can still find it in stores, so if you love as much as I do and you've been eyeing this piece for a while now (just like I did, until I had to say "what the heck, you're coming home with me") go get it! It's definitely worth it. 

Se já me seguem no Instagram, já devem ter visto esta espectacularidade de colar da Zara. É absolutamente lindo e não me consigo fartar de olhar para ele. Foi um pouco caro para um colar na minha opinião, mas cometer uma pequena loucura de vez em quando também não faz mal. Ainda o podem encontrar nas lojas, por isso se o acham tão lindo quanto eu ou já estão há muito tempo a pensar comprá-lo (exactamente como eu até que um dia disse "vai ter mesmo que ser") vão já buscá-lo! Vale mesmo a pena.

SWEATER WEATHER

One of this season's must-haves are knit chunky sweaters. I got myself two, one from Primark and one from Gina Tricot. I thought I'd do a different shopping post today and show you the sweater but on myself. I have to say that my favorite is the gray one from Gina Tricot but in photos it doesn't look that good. It was about 20€ plus transportation fees, so it ended up being something like 25€. You can see it online here and they have a whole bunch of colors besides this one. I'm also really happy with my purchase from Primark, the cream knit, the quality is way better than I would ever imagine and it does not itch at all. It cost about 16€, which is just.. I mean... great for a chunky sweater. Hope you liked my shopping!

Uma das maiores tendências desta estação são as "camisolonas" de lã. Como adoro este tipo de camisola (sim porque há tendências que simplesmente são ridículas e não sei como há pessoas que usam coisas só porque estão na moda, por exemplo os ténis com salto em cunha... peço desculpa a quem gosta mas aquilo é horrível), comprei duas. Uma da primark e outra da Gina Tricot. A minha favorite é a cinzenta, mas nas fotos não me agrada muito ahah não sei porque, mas é mais gira ao vivo. Custou 20€ mais os portes, por isso ficou a 25€ penso eu. Podem encontrá-la aqui e existem ainda muitas mais cores! Também estou super satisfeita com a minha compra da Primark, a camisola creme. Fiquei surpreendida com a qualidade e que não faz comichão. Foi 16€, que é mesmo bom para uma camisola deste género. Espero que tenham gostado das minhas comprinhas!

CHAINS

I love me some earings, but as I've said before sometimes it's hard for me to pair them with outfits. I don't knwo if it's my hair, my head shape or what, but they are not all the appealing at first sight to me. But I'm trying to fix this and pay more attetion to them so I got myself these beauties from H&M. I think they are so different from what we're used to that it will definately make any outfit original. You can still find them in stores so if you liked these, go grab them! 

Eu adoro brincos, mas como já disse antes em mim consegue ser complicado de conjugar. Não sei se é do cabelo ser tão liso, do formato da cabeça, o que seja, não é uma coisa que me chame muito à atenção. Mas estou a tentar melhorar isso e como tal trago-vos hoje estas belezas da H&M. Acho que são tão fora do comum que vão dar logo um ar super original a qualquer look. Ainda os podem encontrar nas lojas por isso se gostarem deles tanto quanto eu, corram para os irem buscar!

NEW GEMS

On one of my most recent shopping trips to the mall, I got the amazing "gem stone" earrings from Parfois. I thought they are so adorable that I had to bring them home with me. I'm a big fan on earrings, however, I tend to forget to put them on. It just doesn't cross my mind when I'm planning my outfit for that day. I have to start wearing them more often, because these are just too cute not to. I hope you liked them!

Numa das minhas mais recentes visitas a um centro comercial, comprei estes brincos de "pedras" na Parfois. Achei que eram adoráveis e como tal tinha que os trazer comigo para casa. Sou uma grande fã de brincos, no entanto, esqueço-me sempre de os usar. Simplesmente não me passa pela cabeça conjugá-los com o que vou usar nesse dia. Tenho que me começar a lembrar mais deles, porque são demasiado giros para não os usar. Espero que tenham gostado!

BLACK BOOTIES II

Second round of the black boots series. They are from Stradivarius and are still in stores (I checked yesterday). I've showed you these ones on the outfit that I wore to VFNO, for the very first time actually, and since then I've been wearing them non stop. They just look good with everything it's hard not to want to pair them with every outfit. The third pair of black booties are on their way, so it will take a while until I post the final set. Segunda ronda da série das botas pretas. Estas são da Stradivarius e ainda estão disponíveis em loja (acabei de ver ontem à noite no Colombo). Já vos tinha mostrado estas no outfit que usei para VFNO, que por acaso foi a primeira vez que as usei, e desde então tenho-as usado sem parar. É que elas ficam bem com tudo e é difícil não as querer conjugar com todos os looks. O terceiro, e último, par ainda está a caminho por isso vai demorar mais um bocadinho a chegar o último post da série. Espero que tenham gostado destes!

BLACK BOOTIES I

It's been a while since I did a shopping post, but you're about to see a whole lot more as a new series is beggining. The "Black Booties" series, my latest addiction. Here is the first pair. From primark, so they were really cheap and remind me of the Susanna boots from Chloé. I've been wearing these lately with many different outfits, and I think they look great with jeans that are either colored or have a pattern on them. I'm sure you can still find them in stores, but I got them about 2 months ago in Spain. Hope you liked these and stay tuned for more black booties!

Já foi há algum tempo que fiz um post sobre compras (sem ser de maquilhagem), mas preparem-se que vêm aí vários destes. Vai ser uma série de posts só com "botinhas pretas", o meu vicio mais recente. Aqui está o primeiro par. São da Primark por isso foram bastante baratas. Lembram-me as botas Susanna da Chloé. Tenho lhes dado muito uso ultimamente, principalmente com calças ou coloridas ou com padrões. Tenho quase a certeza que ainda as podem encontrar nas lojas, mas eu já as comprei há 2 meses em Espanha.. Espero que tenham gostado e estejam atentos para os próximos posts de "Black Booties"!

ORANGE BAG

It's been a while since I did a shopping post so I thought this bag would be the right moment to get back at it. The Zara bag from this year's SS collection. I got on sale but it wasn't a very good deal, only 5€ discount. I was looking for the white one in the first place but when I finally realized that this was the only one left, deciced to go ahead and get it. It's a lot like the Proenza Schouler PS 11 bag, which I love but this one is more on my price range. I'm in Düsseldorf right now and we had a great day. We're staying a little bit outside the centre of the city at some relative's house so today we just went around town and to the park. Took lots of pictures to share with you as soon as I get home and edit them. Hope you liked this bag and if you're lucky you might still find it in stores.

Já foi há algum tempo que fiz um post sobre as minhas comprinhas e achei que esta mala era um bom motivo para o voltar a fazer. É uma mala da colecção primavera/verão da Zara. Comprei-as nos saldos mas não foi assim um grande desconto, apenas 5€. Andava à procura da versão desta em branco mas quando finalmente me apercebi que esta era a única que ainda havia, decidi levá-la comigo. É uma mala muito inspirada na PS 11 da Proenza Schouler, que eu adoro mas esta é um pouco mais para o meu bolso. Já estou em Düsseldorf e hoje passámos um dia muito agradável. Estou em casa de uns familiares que fica nos arredores da cidade e como tal hoje andámos a ver aqui a vila onde moram e fomos a um jardim lindo de morrer. Tirei montes de fotos para vos mostrar assim que voltar para Portugal e as editar. Espero que tenham gostado da mala e se estiverem interessadas, com um bocadinho de sorte pode ser que ainda a vejam nas lojas.

BIKINI SEASON PART III

So let's continue our bikini talk. Last but now least we have two white and blue ones, both from Oysho. The white one is probably my favorite from all the five that I got this year (right after the trikini ahah). It looks so good on and with a really nice tan I think it will just look perfect. The blue one, again, another case of needing a really nice tan, but I love it. The little sparkles just make me super happy! Então vamos continuar a nossa conversa sobre bikinis. Como capítulo final, temos este branco e azul, ambos da Oysho. O branco é provavelmente o meu favorito dos cinco (upps) deste ano, logo a seguir ao trikini. Fica super bem e com o bom bronze vai ficar perfeito. O azul, é outra vez a mesma situação do bronze, mas adoro. Os pequenos brilhantes deixam-me super contente! Espero que tenham gostado desta série de bikinis e aqui podem ver a parte I e a parte II. As promised here is a second part of the Bikini Series. I wanted to show this trikini because, for the first time ever, I found one that was just right for me. The right length, the right proportions and black. Pretty much perfection. Love the little ruffle on the top and how it crosses on the back. Here is the link for it, in case you want to get it. Como prometido aqui está a segunda parte desta saga dos bikinis. Decidi mostrar-vos este trikini porque, pela primeira vez, encontrei um que era exactamente o que eu procurava. O comprimento certo, os tamanhos certos e preto. Basicamente, é perfeito. Adoro o pequeno folho na parte de cima e como cruza nas costas. Aqui está o link dele para o caso de quererem comprar. BIKINI SEASON PART I

Since bikini season is finally here, I decided to do a little bikini shopping series. The first pair I bought is from the H&M for water collection and they are super cute. I'm the kind of person that likes to have a lot of options when going to the beach because every summer I head down to Algarve (south of Portugal) for about 2-3 weeks and another week or so to the country side, Alentejo, so it's basicly mandatory that I own lots of them. About 2 years ago I gave up on "cool surfer brand" bikinis, and that's because they are super expensive, the sizes are super weird and do not last more than 2 years, and that is if you're lucky. I used to get mine at Roxy, Billabong, those kinds of stores you probably know, but finnaly figured, why buy expensive not so good quality bikinis and only get one or two, when you can just get a lot more that will last the same amount of time for a lot less? So with this epifiny, I went into H&M and Oysho and saw so many that I liked and got a few. The only "expensive" bikini brands that are worth it for me are the Brazilian ones, like Cia Maritima, they have really cute stuff. I will show you some more soon, hope you liked these two.

Ao que parece o verão finalmente chegou para ficar (uffaa e foi logo a matar), e como tal decidi fazer uma pequena série sobre bikinis para vos mostrar as minhas escolhas deste ano. Os primeiros que comprei são da coleção da H&M for water e são super giros. Sou daquele tipo de pessoas que gosta de ter muitas opções porque passo a maior parte das minhas férias de verão no Algarve e Alentejo, como tal é mesmo necessário ter vários à minha disposição. Há mais ou menos 2 anos apercebi-me do quanto inútil é comprar bikinis das marcas tipo "surfistas", isto porque são super caros para o que são, os tamanhos são todos malucos e não duram assim tanto tempo comparados com os de marcas mais baratas, por vezes até conseguem ser piores, isto na minha opinião claro. Antes ia à Roxy, Billabong, e por aí fora mas ainda bem que finalmente se fez luz na minha cabeça, porquê comprar um ou dois bikinis caros que não são assim tão bons, quando posso comprar muitos mais que vão durar exactamente o mesmo tempo e por muito menos? Foi então que me dirigi à H&M e Oysho e vi estes e outros super giros. Os únicos mais caros que valem realmente a pena são os das marcas brasileiras como a Cia Marítima. Espero que gostem destes dois e brevemente vou-vos o resto.

This dress arrived this morning. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to style it yet but I threw it on and took a quick picture straight away. I love the mid calf length- it makes a body con dress very lady like.

I loved the simplicity of this dress. It had such a nice fit. I had the choice of the shoes in orange and pink. I named them Carrie and Samantha... In the end I went with Samantha.

You could easily recreate this look with this simple, chic shift dress from TopShop. I have it in beige.
