As I had said on my last post, here is the outfit I wore to this year Vogue Fashion's Night Out. I had just bought these booties (beauties) and decided this was the perfect time to try them out. I love them! They are just so versatile and made this outfit look a lot cooler and edgy, but at the same time I was keeping in comfortable so that was definately a plus. I will do a post just on the boots so you can see them more detailed, as the light was already terrible in these pictures. Hope you liked this one!

Como tinha dito no último post, aqui está o conjunto que usei na Vogue Fashion's Night Out deste ano. Tinha acabado de comprar esta botinhas (lindas) no dia antes e decide que seria a altura perfeita para as estrear. Adoro-as! São super fáceis de conjugar com praticamente tudo e dão aquele ar mais cool e edgy, mais ao mesmo tempo estou super confortável. Vou fazer um post só com as botinhas para as verem melhor ao promenor, porque a luz neste dia já estava um pouco má. Espero que tenham gostado deste look!

VOGUE FASHION'S NIGHT OUT

As you all know, Vogue has that special night once a year where all stores are filled up with glamour, pretty decorations, music, drinks, some discounts and... way too many people!! Well yesterday, it was Lisbon's (and some other places, like Madrid) turn to host the famous Fashion's Night Out. I was able to buy a few things and take lots of pictures (as you can see). All the stores that I usually go to were full of pretty things, as you can see in the pictures from H&M, Zara and Pull&Bear. I really liked the magazine cover stands that were put up in the street. It looked really good! I was able to get my hands on this varsity jacket for 20% off so I really couldn't resist. I will show you my outfit on the next post so stay tuned for that!

Como todos sabem, a Vogue criou já há algum tempo uma noite especial que acontece todos os anos em que várias ruas de várias cidades se enchem de glamour, decorações divertidas, muita música, bebidas, alguns descontos e... montes de gente!! Bem ontem foi a vez de Lisboa (juntamente com algumas outras cidades como Madrid) de trazer a VFNO às ruas da baixa. Consegui comprar umas coisinhas e tirar imensas fotos (como podem ver). Todas as lojas que costumo ir estavam cheias de coisas lindas, como podem ver pelas fotos da H&M, Zara e Pull&Bear. Adoro as capas de revistas que estavam expostas no Largo de Camões, adorei a ideia! Consegui apanhar um casaco que andava a namorar da Pull com 20% de desconto, por isso nem pensei duas vezes. No próximo post, vou vos mostrar o meu outfit deste dia por isso fiquem atentos!

M.A.C. FIX+

M.A.C. is and always will be one of my favorite brands. I think it's definately worth saving up some money to buy certain products from them. Fix Plus included. It's basicly a make-up fixer that freshens up your face at the same time. You can put it on before or after applying your make-up, I prefer to do it after so it doesn't look too caky. It's great for making it look more natural and light on your skin. Each bottle is about 18,5€ (at least here in Portugal) but I think it's totally worth it because, personally, I don't apply this on everyday, mostly when I'm taking pictures, going out, any kind of special occasions. A M.A.C. é e sempre será uma das minhas marcas favoritas de maquilhagem. Apesar dos preços não serem os mais convidativos, penso que vale a pena poupar para certos produtos. Incluindo o Fix Plus. Basicamente é um fixador de maquilhagem que simultaneamente refresca a nossa cara. Pode-se aplicar antes ou depois da maquilhagem estar pronta, mas eu prefiro depois, para evitar aquele ar pastoso que as bases por vezes podem criar. É um produto ótimo para deixar a pele com um ar mais natural e leve. Cada spray destes é 18,5€ (em Portugal) mas acho que acaba por compensar até porque não o costumo aplicar todos os dias, apenas quando vou tirar fotos, sair ou qualquer outra ocasião especial. As I had said before, many outfits are still to be shown, including this one! This one was taken even before the "Wilderness" post, so... you can imagine how long ago. You can actually see just how pale I still looked in these pictures. I ended up using these shorts and shoes for my b-day, just with a different black top. I'm in love with these shorts, they are so pretty and are able to stand out with anything. But these are better with simple things, or else, you'll have way too much going on. I find myself always pairing whatever to black tanks ou tees, it's just so flattering and keeps the outfit simple but cool. Hope you liked this one!

Como já tinha dito antes, ainda há muitos outfits por mostrar, incluindo este! Este look já foi fotografado antes do post "Wilderness" por isso... podem imaginar há quanto tempo. Podem até mesmo confirmar tudo isto pela minha palidez. Acabei por vestir um conjunto quase totalmente semelhante a este para os meus anos, a única diferença foi outro top preto. Estou completamente apaixonada por estes calções, são tão bonitos e conseguem sempre dar nas vistas. Mas a melhor maneira de os vestir é com algo simples, se não, acabam por ser demasiadas coisas para uma pessoa só. Eu sou daquele tipo de pessoas que acaba sempre por conjugar peças mais sofisticadas com tops ou t-shirts pretas, acentam super bem e deixam o look simples mas "cool". KIKO WATER EYESHADOWS

As the huge make-up junkie that I am, I thought I should start doing some more reviews on products that I liked. I'm always watching youtube videos about make-up, tutorials and all the news in the beauty world. It just fascinates me and I get super excited about trying all new kinds of products. So the other day I was in Kiko (which still has some sales going on, you should go there while you still can!) and picked up these two in the shades 213 (dark blue/teal) and 226 (light blue/silver). The colors are so pigmented and they stay on for I don't even know how long, but for ages! They are also really hard to take off as they are (supposed to be) waterproof. I was only a little dissapointed with the lighter blue, I was looking more for a white silvery tone rather than a light blue, but I'll make it work somehow. I hope to find a great tutorial to do on myself so I can show you on the blog. If you have any ideas or thoughts on a make-up look for the dark shade please let me know, I would love to hear your ideas!

Como uma fanática por maquilhagem que eu sou achei que seria boa ideia fazer mais posts destes dedicados à minha opinião sobre certos produtos. Estou sempre a ver vídeos no youtube de maquilhagem, tutoriais e novos produtos interessantes. É um mundo que me fascina, principalmente porque há sempre novidades e truques para aprender. Então, no outro dia fui à Kiko (que ainda tem alguns saldos, por isso quem puder ir já sabe!) e trouxe estas duas sombras nos tons 213 (azul escuro/petróleo) e o 226 (azul claro/prateado). As cores são tão pigmentadas e duram uma eternidade! Também são bastante difíceis de remover, por serem (supostamente) à prova de água (daí o nome). Só fiquei um bocadinho desiludida com o tom mais claro porque estava mais à procura de um tom metalizado e não azul claro, mas vou tentar fazer um "make it work" na mesma". Espero encontrar um ideia para fazer um tutorial com o azul petróleo para vos mostrar. Se tiverem alguma ideia por favor disponham, adorava saber as vossas ideias!

Sorry for my absence, but as I was trying to settle in, some friends and I ended up going to Ericeira for a few days and the blog was a little forgotten. So, to bring back the beach spirit to the blog I have this post (still from Algarve) to show you. I've had the green dress for a while (about a year) and I can't get enough of it. I can wear it in a lot of different ways. Sorry for writing so short but gotta run! Hope you liked this post!

Peço desculpa mais uma vez pela minha ausência mas enquanto estava a tentar fazer arrumações e mentalizar-me que as férias acabaram, eu e mais uns amigos fomos para a Ericeira uns dias e o blog acabou por ficar um bocado esquecido. Para trazer de voltar os ares da praia, aqui está um post, ainda do Algarve, para vocês. Já tenho este vestido verde há algum tempo (um ano, penso eu) e não me consigo fartar dele. NAILS OF THE MONTH

So I have decided to start a new segment on the blog. At the beginning of every new month, I will post my favorite nailpolishes of the previous one. About 4 or 5 most used throughout the month that has passed. For this one in particular I chose these three beautiful summery tones and a neutral (but super pretty) one. I'll start by talking about the Essie "Fiji" nailpolish. I just bought it and I can say that it went automatically into my all-time favorites! It's so pigmented and the color makes the skin look a lot more tan, which in this case I really liked. The summery tones are basicly because it's the right time to wear them and they look great with a nice tan as well. I have to confess a little weird thing that I do which is to stare at my nailpolish underwater. For example if I'm at the beach or the pool I just love to look at my nails for hours. It's as if the color gets a new effect or something. Oh and you should try it with glittery polishes, so pretty! Decidi que a partir de hoje vou começar a fazer um post no início de cada mês dedicado aos meus vernizes favoritos do mês anterior, cerca de 4 ou 5 que foram os mais relevantes. Para este post em particular, escolhi 3 cores vibrantes e um tom neutro chamado "Fiji" da Essie. Acabei de o comprar e foi automaticamente para o topo da minha lista de favoritos. É super pigmentado por isso 2 camadas são mais do que suficientes, e faz com que a pele pareça ainda mais bronzeada, o que eu adorei neste caso. As cores mais vibrantes são perfeitas para o verão e como tal agora era a altura para lhes dar mais uso. Tenho que confessar uma coisa, tenho uma mania estranha de "testar" sempre as cores das unhas de baixo de água. Adoro como as cores ficam, parecem muito mais brilhantes e vivas por isso sempre que estou na praia ou na piscina passo imenso tempo a olhar para elas para ver se gosto. Então se for um verniz com brilhantes, fico doida! Adoro! Espero que tenham gostado deste post e digam-me se querem que passe a fazer isto todos os meses.
