CHAINS

I love me some earings, but as I've said before sometimes it's hard for me to pair them with outfits. I don't knwo if it's my hair, my head shape or what, but they are not all the appealing at first sight to me. But I'm trying to fix this and pay more attetion to them so I got myself these beauties from H&M. I think they are so different from what we're used to that it will definately make any outfit original. You can still find them in stores so if you liked these, go grab them! 

Eu adoro brincos, mas como já disse antes em mim consegue ser complicado de conjugar. Não sei se é do cabelo ser tão liso, do formato da cabeça, o que seja, não é uma coisa que me chame muito à atenção. Mas estou a tentar melhorar isso e como tal trago-vos hoje estas belezas da H&M. Acho que são tão fora do comum que vão dar logo um ar super original a qualquer look. Ainda os podem encontrar nas lojas por isso se gostarem deles tanto quanto eu, corram para os irem buscar!

As you know, at the beggining of each month I like to talk about my favorite polishes throughout the past month. This month we have some from Catrine, Kiko and Essence, all really cheap and good quality. My favorite I would have to say was the Kiko polish and the least favorite was the Catrice metal color. But I loved them all anyways. Hope you liked this month's choices!

Como sabem, no início de cada mês gosto de vos falar um bocadinho dos meus vernizes favoritoes do mês passado. Desta vez temos alguns da Catrice, Kiko e Essence, todos super baratinhos e bons. O meu favorite de todos é o da Kiko e o que gostei menos é o "cor de metal" da Catrice, mas gosto de todos de qualquer maneira. Espero que tenham gostado das minhas escolhas deste mês!

Finally, a new look. Remember when I asked your thoughts on getting myself a "pencil" skirt? Well I did, not one but two. Zara has made some amazing and super cheap ones so you should definitely check those out. Once again, I was at the Champalimaud centre to shoot these pictures and when we got there, the floor was filled with water from all the rain that has been going on (well, not this week, but last week) so we decided to take advantage of what nature had to offer and get some reflections on camera. I think it turned out pretty cool, what do you think? Let me know and I hope you liked this outfit!

Finalmente, um novo look. Lembram-se quando vos disse que estava a pensar arranjar uma saia deste género, pencil skirt? Bem, aqui está ela e trouxe não uma, mas duas... ups. A Zara acabou de lançar umas super giras e baratíssimas que aconselho a darem uma vista de olhos. Mais uma vez fomos até ao Centro Champalimaud para fotografar e quando lá chegámos deparámo-nos com estas mega poças devido à chuva da semana passada, por isso decidimos aproveitá-las para que se visse o meu reflexo na água. Acho que ficaram engraçadas, e vocês o que acham? Digam-me nos comentários e espero que tenham gostado deste outfit!

Every girls loves those two special things, shoes and purses. So I decided to create a wishlist with some of my favorites for this season. As you all know, I'm a huge black bootie fan, I have a lot and I just can't help not to look at them in stores. So these three are some great examples of the perfect bootie for fall. Another thing is that I love is stapple bags. I'm especially in love with number 2. I think it's perfect and soooo pretty. Hope you liked these items and let me know which were your favorites!

Todas as raparigas precisam de duas coisas, malas e sapatos. Como tal, decide criar uma wishlist com alguns dos meus favoritos para esta estação. Como já devem saber, sou maluca por botas pretas, tenho várias e mesmo assim não consigo deixar de olhar para elas nas lojas. Por isso, aqui estão alguns exemplos das minhas favoritas para o Outono. A outra peça muito importante são as malas, e eu estou especialmente a adorar a segunda. Acho que é perfeita e lindíssima. As promised, here is a new post, and a special one as I mentioned 'cause it's time for a new Make-Up Story! This time with a dramatic cat-eye and a bold neon lipstick. Two of my favorite things when it comes to make-up. I created a simple shadow on my crease to give that depth effect to the eye. I usually go for a simple eye when rocking a dramatic cat-eye. This lipstick is very dear to me. It's so neon and pigmented but has the most amazing feel to it. Senior year is taking its toll on me, so many papers and presentations to do and that's why there was no time left to blog. I hope this week will be a little better and that I'm able to post some new looks!! Stay tuned for that. Hope you liked this dramatic look!

Como prometido, aqui está um novo post, e um particularmente especial porque está na hora de mais uma "Make-Up Story"! Desta vez com um risco bastante dramático e uns lábios bem neon. Duas das minhas coisas preferidas no que toca a maquilhagem. Criei uma simples sombra no olho para dar um aquele efeito de profundidade. Normalmente escolho sombras bastante simples para toda a atenção ficar no risco. Este batôn é muito especial para mim. É tão fluorescente e pigmentado mas assenta que nem uma luva nos lábios. O último ano de faculdade está a dar cabo de mim, tantos trabalhos e apresentações para fazer que mal tive tempo de fazer um post. Espero que esta semana seja melhorzinha e consiga mostrar-vos uns looks novos que fotografei esta semana!! Fiquem atentos. Espero que tenham gostado deste look dramático!

I HAVE A THING FOR VOGUE

Most of my friends know that I have a weird addiction to magazines and I collect all of them. I rarely get around to re-reading them but I just like knowing that they're there. My favorite being... Vogue (Portugal). I've been collecting it since 2009 so you can imagine how many I own. Lately, with trips here and there, I started collecting Vogues from other countries. From Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Russia. The only one I haven't been to is Russia, but I can't even read! It's the most interesting one in that matter, but the other ones, especially the italian and french are the best, for obvious reasons. I hope you liked this post, that was a little different than usual!

A maior parte das minhas amigas sabe que tenho um vício estranho de coleccionar revistas. Raramente volto a lê-las mas gosto de saber que estão ali para o caso de me apetecer. A minha favorita... a Vogue (Portugal). Já a colecciono desde 2009 por isso podem imaginar quantas são. Ultimamente, com viagens aqui e ali decidi juntar Vogues de outros pais. Desde Espanha, França, Alemanha, Itália e Rússia. O único onde não fui foi à Rússia, mas também é impossível de ler! É a mais interessante por ser tão diferente, mas em termos de qualidade, a francesa e italiana são as melhores, por razões óbvias. Espero que tenham gostado deste post, um bocadinho diferente do normal!

There are some pieces that you should always have in your closet, no matter what trends are going around. One of them being the black leather jacket. Super easy to style and gives that edgy touch to any outfit. So when I saw this one at Zara I knew I had to have it. I really like its shape and texture. It looks perfect with all my black booties. Remember this orange bag from THIS post? Well it's not the easiest bag to play with because of the color, but in this particular look it went added that personal touch. Hope you liked this one!

Existem algumas peças que devemos ter sempre no armário, sejam quais foram as tendências do momento. Uma delas é o casaco preto de cabedal. Super fácil de conjugar e dá aquele toque "edgy" a qualquer look. Como tal, quando vi este na Zara sabia que o tinha que trazer comigo para casa. Adoro os detalhes e a sua textura. Fica perfeito com todas as minhas botinhas pretas. Lembram-se da mala laranja DESTE post? Bem, não é a mala mais simples de conjugar devido à sua cor, mas neste caso achei que dava um toque pessoal a todo o conjunto. Espero que tenham gostado!
