Hello there, yes... I'm alive. If you follow me on facebook (here) you must have seen my post on how the past few weeks have been totally crazy and full of work so I would only be coming back to the blog this weeked. So here I am. Right before Christmas, my friends and I had a little "secret santa" dinner and exchanged some gifts. My friend Catarina got me as her secret santa and she decided to make this not-so-little joke regarding my blog, Guess What. As you can see it's the layout of the blog but with the posts part cut out so you can "insert your face here" for pictures. I was so happy with this gift, it's probably the most original gift I've ever gotten. So, thanks Cats! Hope you liked this post.

Olá olá, sim... Estou viva. Se me seguem no facebook (aqui) já devem saber que tive umas semanas com mais trabalho e que (apesar de ainda não ter acabado todos os exames) só iria voltar este fim-de-semana. Por isso aqui estou eu, de novo. Mesmo antes do natal, eu e os meus amigos decidimos fazer um jantar para brincar ao "amigo secreto". A minha amiga Catarina ficou com o meu nome e na sua vasta imaginação decidiu fazer-me esta prenda brilhante. Como podem ver é o layout do blog mas que na parte dos posts está cortada numa espécie de "coloque aqui a sua cara" para fotos. Fiquei super contente com esta prenda, é provavelmente das prendas mais originais que já recebi. Por isso, obrigada Cats! Espero que tenham gostado deste post.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy new year everyone! Hope you had an amazin NYE. As the end of the year approaches, I always tend to make some resolution for the new one. This year being all about: blogging more, staying more focused on the important stuff, argue a lot less, never go to bed with make-up on (upps!), stob biting my nails, and so on... Can't think of any other right now. What are some of your resolutions for 2014?

Bom ano novo para todas! Espero tenham tido uma passagem de ano fantástica. Assim que o ano se aproxima do fim, costuma fazer as resoluções para o que está para vir. Este ano são estas: fazer posts mais regularmente, estar mais concentrada, discutir menos, nunca me deitar com maquilhagem ainda por tirar (upps!), parar de roer as unhas, e mais algumas. Não me consigo lembrar de mais agora. Quais são as vossas resoluções para 2014?

BEST OF 2013

Here we go. Off to 2014. Take a look back at two of my favorite outfits from each month of the year. This year has been great, finally decided to start the blog, went to amazing places, made some great friends, and so on. Hope the next one will be even better and brings a lot of opportunities. Do tell me what were some of your favorite moments from the blog throughout 2013, I would love to know. By the way, notice how long my hair got since January? Just thought I should mention it haha. Este ano só trouxe coisas boas, finalmente decidi começar o blog, visitei sítios fantásticos, conheci pessoas fantásticas e por aí fora. XMAS TIME

Chirstmas is always one of my favorite times of the whole year. I love how everywhere you go everything is so nicely decorated and colorful. Today I was laying around the house (supposably studying, but didn't feel like it at the moment) and thought "I should take some pictures of the lights and ornaments on our xmas tree" and so I did. It was only appropriate to do so. This year it's all about red and gold. I usually go for the blue and gold mix but my brothers convinced me it was time to innovate. Hope you liked the pictures and have a nice weekend!

O Natal é sempre uma das minhas alturas favoritas do ano. Adoro que a todo o lado onde vá haja sempre decorações e esteja tudo super colorido. Hoje estava aqui por casa (supostamente a estudar mas no momento não estava a resultar de todo, sabem como é) e pensei "devia ir tirar umas fotos às luzes e às bolas da árvore de Natal" e assim o fiz. Este ano escolhemos os tons vermelho e dourado. Normalmente uso as bolas azuis e douradas mas os meus irmãos convenceram-me que estava na altura de inovar nas cores. Espero que tenham gostado das fotos e tenham um bom fim-de-semana!

I HAVE A THING FOR VOGUE

Most of my friends know that I have a weird addiction to magazines and I collect all of them. I rarely get around to re-reading them but I just like knowing that they're there. My favorite being... Vogue (Portugal). I've been collecting it since 2009 so you can imagine how many I own. Lately, with trips here and there, I started collecting Vogues from other countries. From Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Russia. The only one I haven't been to is Russia, but I can't even read! It's the most interesting one in that matter, but the other ones, especially the italian and french are the best, for obvious reasons. I hope you liked this post, that was a little different than usual!

A maior parte das minhas amigas sabe que tenho um vício estranho de coleccionar revistas. Raramente volto a lê-las mas gosto de saber que estão ali para o caso de me apetecer. A minha favorita... a Vogue (Portugal). Já a colecciono desde 2009 por isso podem imaginar quantas são. Ultimamente, com viagens aqui e ali decidi juntar Vogues de outros pais. Desde Espanha, França, Alemanha, Itália e Rússia. O único onde não fui foi à Rússia, mas também é impossível de ler! É a mais interessante por ser tão diferente, mas em termos de qualidade, a francesa e italiana são as melhores, por razões óbvias. Espero que tenham gostado deste post, um bocadinho diferente do normal!

SHOE LOVIN'

For a nice farewell post to all my summer shoes (as it's pouring rain outside like crazy) I have decided to show you, once again, some shoes from previous posts. From colorful, to metallic, to total black, to patters... I can call myself a shoe lover. I'm a little bit obsessed in fact. It's my favorite piece to buy, as you can probably tell. Hope you liked looking back on these beauties and now you have to say "au revoir" to them! (Don't worry, winter has it's perks too ahah)

Para uma despedida digna dos sapatos de verão (dado que está a chover como sei lá o que, lá fora) decidi que vos devia mostrar, mais uma vez, os sapatos de posts passados. De coloridos, metálicos, totalmente pretos, com padrões... Posso-me chamar uma verdadeira amante de sapatos. Sou um pouco obcecada até. É a minha peça favorita para comprar, como podem notar. Espero que tenham gostado de rever estes bebés e agora digam-lhes "au revoir"! (Não se preocupem, o inverno também tem das suas coisas boas ahah)

VOGUE FASHION'S NIGHT OUT

As you all know, Vogue has that special night once a year where all stores are filled up with glamour, pretty decorations, music, drinks, some discounts and... way too many people!! Well yesterday, it was Lisbon's (and some other places, like Madrid) turn to host the famous Fashion's Night Out. I was able to buy a few things and take lots of pictures (as you can see). All the stores that I usually go to were full of pretty things, as you can see in the pictures from H&M, Zara and Pull&Bear. I really liked the magazine cover stands that were put up in the street. It looked really good! I was able to get my hands on this varsity jacket for 20% off so I really couldn't resist. I will show you my outfit on the next post so stay tuned for that!

Como todos sabem, a Vogue criou já há algum tempo uma noite especial que acontece todos os anos em que várias ruas de várias cidades se enchem de glamour, decorações divertidas, muita música, bebidas, alguns descontos e... montes de gente!! Bem ontem foi a vez de Lisboa (juntamente com algumas outras cidades como Madrid) de trazer a VFNO às ruas da baixa. Consegui comprar umas coisinhas e tirar imensas fotos (como podem ver). Todas as lojas que costumo ir estavam cheias de coisas lindas, como podem ver pelas fotos da H&M, Zara e Pull&Bear. Adoro as capas de revistas que estavam expostas no Largo de Camões, adorei a ideia! Consegui apanhar um casaco que andava a namorar da Pull com 20% de desconto, por isso nem pensei duas vezes. No próximo post, vou vos mostrar o meu outfit deste dia por isso fiquem atentos!

DÜSSELDORF DIARIES: DAY 3

Finally, the last day in pictures. On our last day, we went by boat from Kaiserswerth to Düsseldorf. It was really nice. Then, we walked aroung the promenade by the water all the way into town. It was a sunny saturday so everyone was out having drinks and hanging out. We ended up going back to the "shopping street" to catch the metro so I took some pictures from the Prada and Louis Vuitton windows. So many pretty things. Düsseldorf looks like a really fun city to live in. I really enjoyed my trip there and you should definately go take a look if you get the chance!

Finalmente as fotogradias do último dia. Neste dia, fomos de barco deste Kaiserswerth até Düsseldorf. Foi muito agradável. Depois, demos um passeio pela promenade com vista para o rio até ao centro da cidade. Foi um sábado cheio de sol por isso toda a gente estava na rua e nos bares a beber. Acabámos por ir parar de novo à rua das compras para apanhar o metro e foi aí que tirei estas fotografias às montras da Prada e Louis Vuitton. Tanta coisa gira. Düsseldorf pareceu-me uma cidade super divertida para viver. Gostei imenso de lá ir e aconselho, se tiverem essa oportunidade!
