Since Christmas is right around the corner, literally, it is about time to post a make-up story to inspire you on a make-up look for tonight or tomorrow. This time, a gold simple eye and some bold red lips will do it. I went with my Chanel 19 "Gabrielle" lipstick and my Sleek "Au Naturel" palette (never disappoints) with some extra bright gold shadow from Sephora. The eyeliner is always the same one, my favorite, L'Oréal Super Slim liner. Another option for this look is a silver shadow. Both of them work amazingly and are perfect for the occasion being. Como o Natal está mesmo à porta, literalmente, chegou a altura de vos mostrar uma maquilhagem para se inspirarem para hoje à noite ou amanhã. Desta vez, os olhos com sombras douradas e os lábios vermelhos são a escolha acertada. Escolhi o batom da Chanel 19 "Gabrielle", a minha palete de sombras da Sleek "Au Naturel", que nunca me desilude, e uma sombra dourado mais vibrante da Sephora. O eyeliner, como sempre, foi o Super Slim Liner da L'Oréal. Outra opção para este look é uma sombra prateada. Qualquer uma das duas vai ficar bem para a ocasião. Let's start the last month of 2013 by talking about November's choices in nailpolish. I was little on the fall kind of classics side. A true burgundy, a dark pink, a pale beige and a purple-ish gray with glitter. Most from Sephora (from that huge stock off that they were trying to get rid of to bring the new ones into stores) and one from OPI, which I simply adore. What color have you been paiting your nails lately? Let me know, I would love to hear from you so I can get some more inspiration.

Vamos começar o último mês de 2013 por falar sobre as escolhas de vernizes de Novembro. Estive mais virada para as cores clássicas de Outono. O bordeaux, rosa escuro, bege e um roxo acinzentado com brilhantes. A maior parte é da Sephora (daquelas mega promoções do ano passado antes de trocarem pelos novos vernizes) e um da OPI, que eu simplesmente adoro. Que cor têm escolhido ultimamente? Adorava saber para me poder inspirar também.

H&M LIPGLOSS

I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to glosses, but this one just got all my attention. It's like it was calling me when I saw it. It's a bright pink gloss but with amazing pigmentation so it looks exactly like the color that you see here. It was only 3,95€ for such an amazing product. I'm really happy with this purchase. And oh my... the smell is just divine, something like vanilla. I love it. Hope you liked this beauty post!

Não sou a maior fã de glosses, mas este definitivamente chamou-me à atenção. Parecia que a cor me estava a chamar quando o vi. É um rosa vivo bem choque, mas com uma pigmentação fantástica por isso a cor é tal e qual como vêm nas fotos. Foi apenas 3,95€ por um produto tão bom. Estou mesmo satisfeita com esta compra. Ah e o cheiro... oh meu deus... qualquer coisa como baunilha. Adoro! Espero que tenham gostado deste post de beleza!

As you know, at the beggining of each month I like to talk about my favorite polishes throughout the past month. This month we have some from Catrine, Kiko and Essence, all really cheap and good quality. My favorite I would have to say was the Kiko polish and the least favorite was the Catrice metal color. Como sabem, no início de cada mês gosto de vos falar um bocadinho dos meus vernizes favoritoes do mês passado. Desta vez temos alguns da Catrice, Kiko e Essence, todos super baratinhos e bons. DRAMATIC

As promised, here is a new post, and a special one as I mentioned 'cause it's time for a new Make-Up Story! This time with a dramatic cat-eye and a bold neon lipstick. Two of my favorite things when it comes to make-up. I created a simple shadow on my crease to give that depth effect to the eye. I usually go for a simple eye when rocking a dramatic cat-eye. This lipstick is very dear to me. It's so neon and pigmented but has the most amazing feel to it. Senior year is taking its toll on me, so many papers and presentations to do and that's why there was no time left to blog. I hope this week will be a little better and that I'm able to post some new looks!! Stay tuned for that. Hope you liked this dramatic look!

Como prometido, aqui está um novo post, e um particularmente especial porque está na hora de mais uma "Make-Up Story"! Desta vez com um risco bastante dramático e uns lábios bem neon. Duas das minhas coisas preferidas no que toca a maquilhagem. Criei uma simples sombra no olho para dar um aquele efeito de profundidade. Normalmente escolho sombras bastante simples para toda a atenção ficar no risco. Este batôn é muito especial para mim. É tão fluorescente e pigmentado mas assenta que nem uma luva nos lábios. O último ano de faculdade está a dar cabo de mim, tantos trabalhos e apresentações para fazer que mal tive tempo de fazer um post. Espero que esta semana seja melhorzinha e consiga mostrar-vos uns looks novos que fotografei esta semana!! Fiquem atentos. Espero que tenham gostado deste look dramático!

HONEY & BEESWAX BUTTER

Can I just say how much I love The Body Shop? Their products are just so good and the smells are divine. Big fan. Just last month I picked up this hand and foot butter from the Spa Wisdom Africa collection and I must tell you that it does wonders. First of all the smell is just delicious, it's basiclly vannila and honey (at least that's what I think). Second, my hands and feet get so soft after I apply this butter. I would advise to give it a go!

Posso começar por dizer o quanto eu adoro a Body Shop? Os produtos deles são mesmo bons e os cheiros são divinais. No mês passado fui lá e trouxe este creme para mãos e pés da coleção Spa Wisdom Africa, e tenho vos a dizer que só faz coisas boas. Primeiro de tudo, o cheiro... Qualquer coisa como baunilha misturada em mel (pelo menos é o que me parece). Segundo, as minhas mãos e pés ficam tão suaves e macios depois de o aplicar que é uma maravilha. Experimentem!

So it's that time of the month when I tell you my favorite nailpolish throughout the previous month. During September I was into metallics and pink/purple tones. The green and gray/lavender tones were used just last week. They are perfect for this kind of weather. The bright lavender and dark pink were from the begging of the month. I'm in love with all these color but my favorite was... the gray/lavender one. It has a "brushed metal" effect on it, which is basicly just matte. The great thing about all of these is that they are all really cheap and great quality, so give them a try and tell me what you thought of them. Portanto, chegou aquela altura do mês que vos falo sobre os meus vernizes favoritos do mês passado. Em Setembro estive a adorar estes tons metálicos e rosa/roxo. O verde e o cinzento/lavanda foram usados na semana passada. Penso que são perfeitos para esta altura com este tempo tão cinzento. Os outros dois foram usados mais no início do mês. Estou apaixonada por todas as cores mas o meu verniz favorito é... o cinzento/lavanda. Tem um efeito "brushed metal" que é, basicamente, a mesma coisa que baço. A coisa boa de todos estes vernizes é que são todos acessíveis e de boa qualidade, por isso experimentem e depois digam-me o que acharam. Espero que tenham gostado da minha seleção de Setembro!

YSL GLOSSY STAIN

It's been a while since I did the whole "lipstick talk" so let's get back on track. As you might have guessed lipsticks are my favorite make-up item, I love trying out all different kinds of colors, textures, brands... And when a favorite brand of mine does things like these Glossy Stains, I just can't refure trying it. One thing led to another so I got myself this goodie. The shade is #31 and it's called "Corail Alla Prima" which is a beautiful coral (no kidding ahah) redish tone. This particular shade was released this year so I decided that this was it. I'm super happy with my purchase, the color payoff is amazing, last forever and it's not sticky at all. A lot better than the L'Oréal one but more expensive. Take a look here at all the color range. Já há algum tempo que não falo sobre batons por isso vamos voltar ao que interessa. Como já podem ter reparado, os batons são o meu produto de maquilhagem favorito. Adoro experimentar todas as cores, texturas, marcas... e quando uma das minhas marcas favoritas faz coisinhas destas, simplesmente nao consigo recusar dar uma vista de olhos. Como tal, acabei por oferecer a mim mesma esta beleza. O tom é o nº 31 e chama-se "Corail Alla Prima" que é um tom meio coral (boa) mais para o vermelho. Esta cor em particular foi lançada este ano e por isso decidi que esta era a tal. Estou muito feliz com a minha compra, a cor é linda, dura imenso tempo e não é nada peganhento. Muito melhor do que o da LÓréal mas ao mesmo tempo, mais caro. Dêem aqui uma vista de olhos a toda a variedade de cores que existe. Espero que tenham gostado!

O.P.I. NAIL ENVY

Just a very small post for you with a little review about this amazing nail strengthner! The best I have ever tried, but also the most expensive. It's about 26€ (in Portugal, but I think it's pretty much the same in all the euro countries). It makes your nails rock hard! The instructions on the package say that you should apply two coats and then another coat every two days, for full treatment. Of course I can never keep my nails bare like that for so long but I think it's worth a shot. What do you think?

Hoje trago-vos um post pequenino com a minha opinão sobre este fantástico endurecedor de unhas! O melhor que alguma vez experimentei mas o mais caro também. Custa 26€, eu sei... custa dar isso por um verniz, e ainda por cima transparente, mas eu aproveitei a loja duty free quando voltei da Alemanha para o comprar. Torna as unhas duras que nem uma pedra! Nas instruções diz para se aplicarem duas camadas e depois mais uma a cada dois dias, para o tratamento completo. Claro que eu, como sou, não consigo ficar tanto tempo sem meter uma cor nas unhas mas acho que vale a pena tentar. O que acham?

M.A.C. FIX+

M.A.C. is and always will be one of my favorite brands. I think it's definately worth saving up some money to buy certain products from them. Fix Plus included. It's basicly a make-up fixer that freshens up your face at the same time. You can put it on before or after applying your make-up, I prefer to do it after so it doesn't look too caky. It's great for making it look more natural and light on your skin. Each bottle is about 18,5€ (at least here in Portugal) but I think it's totally worth it because, personally, I don't apply this on everyday, mostly when I'm taking pictures, going out, any kind of special occasions. Hope you liked it!

A M.A.C. é e sempre será uma das minhas marcas favoritas de maquilhagem. Apesar dos preços não serem os mais convidativos, penso que vale a pena poupar para certos produtos. Incluindo o Fix Plus. Basicamente é um fixador de maquilhagem que simultaneamente refresca a nossa cara. Pode-se aplicar antes ou depois da maquilhagem estar pronta, mas eu prefiro depois, para evitar aquele ar pastoso que as bases por vezes podem criar. É um produto ótimo para deixar a pele com um ar mais natural e leve. Cada spray destes é 18,5€ (em Portugal) mas acho que acaba por compensar até porque não o costumo aplicar todos os dias, apenas quando vou tirar fotos, sair ou qualquer outra ocasião especial. KIKO WATER EYESHADOWS

As the huge make-up junkie that I am, I thought I should start doing some more reviews on products that I liked. I'm always watching youtube videos about make-up, tutorials and all the news in the beauty world. It just fascinates me and I get super excited about trying all new kinds of products. So the other day I was in Kiko (which still has some sales going on, you should go there while you still can!) and picked up these two in the shades 213 (dark blue/teal) and 226 (light blue/silver). The colors are so pigmented and they stay on for I don't even know how long, but for ages! They are also really hard to take off as they are (supposed to be) waterproof. I was only a little dissapointed with the lighter blue, I was looking more for a white silvery tone rather than a light blue, but I'll make it work somehow. I hope to find a great tutorial to do on myself so I can show you on the blog. If you have any ideas or thoughts on a make-up look for the dark shade please let me know, I would love to hear your ideas!

Como uma fanática por maquilhagem que eu sou achei que seria boa ideia fazer mais posts destes dedicados à minha opinião sobre certos produtos. Estou sempre a ver vídeos no youtube de maquilhagem, tutoriais e novos produtos interessantes. É um mundo que me fascina, principalmente porque há sempre novidades e truques para aprender. Então, no outro dia fui à Kiko (que ainda tem alguns saldos, por isso quem puder ir já sabe!) e trouxe estas duas sombras nos tons 213 (azul escuro/petróleo) e o 226 (azul claro/prateado). As cores são tão pigmentadas e duram uma eternidade! Também são bastante difíceis de remover, por serem (supostamente) à prova de água (daí o nome). Só fiquei um bocadinho desiludida com o tom mais claro porque estava mais à procura de um tom metalizado e não azul claro, mas vou tentar fazer um "make it work" na mesma". Espero encontrar um ideia para fazer um tutorial com o azul petróleo para vos mostrar. Se tiverem alguma ideia por favor disponham, adorava saber as vossas ideias!
